I know this was posted on March 11, but I think the defense will be above average, but big concerns on the offense, other than Weisman.
If Iowa does go 0-8 in the conference, it's time for all of the Ferentz's to leave.

Right in line with my prediction of 2-10.

Is that Wundergrape knocking on the door? Come right in, my fine fellow! What brings you here all out of breath?;)

And Dino Gaudio the ESPN College bb analyst had Iowa as his #5 team in the nation the day after the national championship game....so what?
On March 11,CFN's prediction for next fall is just that...a prediction..anyone with a blog can have one.

Updated info: watching the spring game on April 27....at least have some idea on what is going on before making silly picks like this,CFN.

Iowa will win at least 6 games, and probably more like 8 games this next year.
And the haters will seethe.

For me 6 wins is the high water mark for this team. However 0-8 in the B1G seems highly unlikely.

I'm generally not a big believer in "bulletin board material". This may be an exception.

If the Hawks are 4-8 again in 2013 the off-season changes we've seen are nothing compared with wholesale changes, including the head coach.

If this team goes 0-8 in the Big Ten...it's all over for KF. That being said...I just don't see that happening. I was a little surprised our OL didn't look better yesterday in the running game, but you also have to remember, our defense has seen the formations a few times. You should be able to stop the run with the repetition these guys have had against the offensive scheme our offense runs.

I know everyone was raving about C. Davis, and I don't mean to rain on the parade, but one of the sacks our guard simply let him go and Blythe was sealing the other direction...he wasn't touched. He certainly looked better, but the sacks were a little misleading...he didn't wrap anyone up due to the red shirted qbs, so I the jury is still out to me. The Dline did look much improved though as a whole.

KF made Wholesale staff changes. He'll be able to pull another year out of that puppet of an AD we have, even if he goes 4-8 again. It will take the 2014 season before his job is on the line. Unless there are about 10,000 unsold season ticket packages. That would usher in hi departure but not before the Puppet gets his pink slip.
Barring that, a 6-6 2014 season and KF and his Puppet can point to "progress". So he'll be here in 2015. Punishing packs of bubble gum, note pads and Hawkeye fans alike. It'll be awesome.
