Cezar Article...Close to decision

Do the right thing Cezar.

It does sound promising. You have to like the fact that Iowa was his last visit, and he will decide shortly thereafter.

I was drafting my fantasy baseball team with Rob Howe tonight. Cezar called him. That's all I have on that front.

Also I posted on her over the weekend that Cezar would decide in the next few weeks, this bodes well for Iowa.

This. There's nothing stopping him from changing his mind at some point, but deciding so soon after his visit is definitely encouraging.

Looks like hes still taking the visit to Miami according to Rob. Not sure what to think of this....

Good feeling just slightly took a dive. Rob Howe just tweeted that Cezar will likely visit Miami.

Then again, we are talking about Miami, and spring break is coming up for many schools next week. It might just be the "vacation" visit.

“No assurances, that’s for sure,â€￾ said Guerrero, who would like to study acting or broadcasting in college. “My only assurances is that I work real hard for my position, and I don’t want people to go and act like, ‘Oh, Fran gave him the spot because the name that he has.’

I like this quote. He's speaking like he's already on the team. I like Iowa's chances but nothing surprises me anymore. Seems like a kid who plays with confidence and a born leader.

Someone needs to remind Cezar that it took Denis Clemente coming to the frigid midwest to truly take off as a basketball player.

All joking aside Durand Scott is going to be a junior next season so he would have to wait a few years to take control of the offense. Although Grant being a senior next year is a little worrisome.

What we know is:
His list has 3 schools, The U isnt one of them
It is spring break next week
He wants to travel and Florida is a nice vacation spot
The U has 0 home games left due to the ACC tourny
This is likely his only chance to get a free trip to Miami

If I was him, I would be taking this visit too! But I still think all signs point to us or OKST

Sounds very promising. I don't want to get my hopes up but from his quotes in the article it definitely feels like he's the Hawks to lose at this point.

Sat behind Cezar on Saturday and he seemed to be genuinely be into the game and watched the players interactions with the coaching staff during TO's, etc. He stood up and clapped at least 3 times (maybe more) and turned to Oglesby and Hubbard when Basabe swatted Johnson to share a WOW! moment.

Obviously biased here, but Miami does not concern me as Cezar seems to be a savvy basketball fan and wants to play where fans care....not the U. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State....seems odd to have both on his list. Does he have family in Oklahoma?? Both play run and gun ball, which he is suited for, but hopefully he sees more potential here and or a better fit with McCaffrey and staff. The big 12 is certainly not as glamarous as the big ten, but that is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.a

It goes without saying it would be huge to land Cezar, as he would give us the anchor freshman point guard we haven't had in a long time and would put us on the map with respect to landing a top recruit from CA.

As of Sat. the Pensacola, Panama Beach areas were already infested with many college students.
