Cant we all just get along?

Aren't many iowa fans complaining about the inability of Iowa's defense getting off the field on third down?
Third down is often a passing down. Also, if Iowa's defense is on the field, Iowa's offense isn't. So, if you're wondering why Iowa's offense scores so little, this would be one reason among many.

Sanders was a force in the NFL because he was a head-hunter.. before head-hunting was penalized. If he was in the NFL, now, he'd have more fines than James Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

EDIT: like Robert Sanders, Norm Parker's and now Phil Parker's defense is a dinosaur.

Yep thats it Iowas offense is so bad because of its defense. Hahahahaha

Another reason for Iowa's offense being so mediocre is Iowa players hadn't acclimated themselves to Davis' new offensive system. Hope there's more knowledge this season.

Right here. Or in the north endzone of Kinnick Stadium, whichever you prefer.

You still havent answered my question.

Who is Robert Sanders?

Ok...wow...sorry...I didn't know you were metarded (replace m with r, then sound it out). I wouldn't have engaged you in debate had i known. I don't think our offense last year sucked because of the defense. I think it had more to do with our receivers dropping balls, not reading the same thing as our QB, our offense line and RB's being decimated by injuries, etc. Blaming the defense for the offensive woes is offensive. Sure they couldn't get off the field on third down, but because of the offense, they faced more third downs, and with fewer minutes between them. Give me a break.

Oh, and you are right, Bob Sanders was a big hitter, got it. He was also a game changing player, hence the MVP. Did you ever wonder why the guy was always around the ball? He seemed like he was everywhere. It was because he had instincts beyond the normal NFL player and he was quick to recognize and he got in position faster than other players. To say it was because he could hit people is moronic.

I would like to apologize if I've offended anyone or hurt anyone's feelings in this thread. You know I sometimes just get so ****** at how stupid people are and I just can't control myself. I mean these freaking idiots wouldn't know a football if it was shoved up their ***** and they were provided an x-ray. And the chicks that come on here and try to provide a take...wow...now that's special.

Ok, i'm kidding...they would know it's a football.

His name wasn't "Robert" Sanders. Get a grip...and some knowledge.

How good does a pass D need to be when your run D is as good as some of ours have been?

I agree about stepping on an opponent's throat when the chance. Our primary goal should be a big enough lead to sit starters in the 4th quarter with no thought/need of putting them back in.

Fight breaks out in the "Can't we all just get along?" thread. LOL
