Can you be an upper level team without a QB?

The question should be...."can the 2017 Hawkeyes be an upper level team without a QB & receivers?"
After the kids day practice I am a little more bullish on the receivers than going in. In retrospect (posted vids - thanks!) Stanley may be more ahead of the rest than I thought initially as I was busy attending to my 2 year old grand daughter (kids day, remember?). Iowa will have to earn upper level status and that will be tough early on given the inexperience @ QB.

I wish Quarells had participated in the 7/7s as all I saw was his work in the drills. I may be drinking kool-aid and seeing what I wanted to see but I am going to include him in my top four @ # 4. The rest involve that assumption and that MVB will be close to where he was last year pre injury (#1). Young is earning it and should see the field immediately as my #2. ISM ran good routes. He wasn't targeted much (defense) but he was getting open frequently. That makes him #3 for now.

I don't belived

I don't believe KF or BF will expect either QB to do much more than execute the game plan. I think with having offensive options such as a sustained running game and several passing options, this will hopefully alleviate pressure on a young quarterback. More than likely it will be more important for the QB to stay in his lane and just run the offense. As time progresses, and confidence builds, I imagine the QB will be able to utilize his talents once more confidence and competency is gained.

Agree. They aren't going to ask them to go out and win the game. Manage it and don't make mistakes.
