Calling it right now - Iowa beats NU on Friday night

Well for one the barn is a hard place to play in. two the gophers are a very physical team we will get push around. three the officials on the road we’ll you know .
Officials at home ain’t much better (see Michigan game)

Have you actually watch Minnesota play this year or are you metaphorically speaking, pulling shit out of your ass?

Couple of snowflakes don’t make a blizzard…
Definitely know all about blizzards these days.

We've gotten nearly two-thirds of an annual average snowfall in five days.

Get this. Snowmobile enthusiasts from central and northern Wisconsin have been inquiring US about open trails.

Well they certainly are now. And they're making plans accordingly to head SOUTH for deeper snow.

They've been the worst shooting team in the league since the Lil Richie years.

We'll see what happens. We've won there a couple times in recent years, despite the one we absolutely dribbled down our leg on Christmas night a few years ago.

Hawks eat gophers-natural prey, and the gophers are sometimes alive to know they are being eaten. Iowa will beat them down like Rocky Balboa did to Apollo Creed in "Rocky II."

Winning at MN will be tough, any road game is tough and a not probable, but the same case can be said about teams coming to Iowa. Do teams lose at home? Yes of course. Lots of times teams get sideways during the journey of a season and they go through a stretch where they can’t beat anyone. It happens to even really good teams. Then they often times get roles worked out or flows and things fall back into place. Seasons are often about stretches where a team plays really well and stretches of terrible basketball. Often times it’s about when you catch a certain team and where they are at in their season.

The game that pisses me off is Michigan. We didn't show up that night. We're going to wish we had that one back.
