Tim Dwight!

I think I have posted this video 10 times on this site. Let me know when you get tired of seeing it. ;)

Thanks for posting that. The universe will implode before I get tired of watching that!

You know, one of the best things about being a Hawkeye is that we get to cherish these special players and moments. Imagine being an OSU fan and having "just another guy" in a long list of talented players year after year. The expectation is 11 wins minimum. 11 wins for us is a special season and it just feels better when it isn't every single season. That's not to say I wouldn't appreciate a nice run of 10+ win seasons, it's just that most of us realize that isn't sustainable at Iowa.

Not to turn this into a KF thread or anything, but I appreciate what he's done. To follow in the footsteps of a Legend is next to impossible but he managed to carve out his own legacy. He will ALWAYS be 2nd fiddle to HF but he will mostly like be surpassed by no one. I was born in '79 and I've known 2 coaches. And they are likely to be the very best we will ever have. I also got to grow up with Atari, then Nintendo, etc up to the tech we have now. I'm truly grateful for all I have experienced and will continue to experience in this life.

And I couldn't have been born and raised in a better place! GO HAWKS!

IIRC, there was a game where Dwight was so early that the punt hit the back/top of his shoulder pads. Penalty, of course, but the punt returner did nothing the rest of the game b/c he was looking for TD on every punt.

At the end of that clip they mention Derek Mason and Mich St the previous week. That might have been the game.
