So. Iowa leads the BT in scoring. They beat the team that leads the BT in defense, Rutgers. They beat Nebbie, in fact, blew them out, the team that beat #1 Purdue. We had more guys in double figures than seems possible. So many assists that it was ridiculous. Held a team to very few 3 pointers which has been one of Nebbies‘ go to’s. Freeman is a beast. Josh breaks out. Peyton finds his stroke. Fran becomes #1 in BT wins.
Additionally, I love the way Fran supports his kids. Stay at Iowa, Fran. (and, he listened to his assistant and went to a zone.). 30 assists on 35 field goals.Good grief. Nobody does that.

And the naysayers on HN just threw up in their mouths. 15 assists, 2 turnovers, for Tony, who isn’t a point guard. Ha Ha. Now, critics, bitch about his scoring, he did not get a lot of points.

BTW. Peyton is not just a streaky 3 point shooter, fools. Boy. This post will piss off the usual suspects. Go for it.

A well played game, a blow out finish. Another Freshman of Week game for Owen Freeman, who really is improving, just a couple of mental mistakes tonight.

Team ended up shooting well. Put damn near a hundred on the Bug Eaters, and that is always a good game.
