Good thing we didn't burn it to the ground. We would have missed 1 great season and one pretty good one over the last 7.
Kirk is losing this team. Can Barta force KF into retirement to avoid that big payout?
In my opinion, and I will be his biggest supporter until it becomes clear that he will never be at iowa, but Bret Bielema is the coach to turn this program around. Some of you may hate him based on what he did at Wisconsin, but honestly look at what he did there. I think he wants to be at iowa, Barta just needs to make it happen. But as Jon Millers has said "I dont trust Gary Barta to make the right hire if Kirk leaves".
Im afraid bad times are coming to iowa soon.

Is this freaking serious? My stomach turned when we forced out Tom Davis and brought in that slim ball AlFRAUD. If we were to push out KF and bring in Blabba the Hut, I'd seriously trade in my Hawk fan card and have to find another team to root for. It might be time for KF to go, but to bring in the Hut would be a serious mistake.

Why BB would this be such a bad idea? When he was a Wisconsin he developed just as well (if not better) than KF. He recruits FAR better than KF has in the last few year. Plays the "Bullies if the Big Ten" football with enough of a new style to keep us in games. Plus he's a passionate guy that people can get behind. Will fight for the program instead of chew on his gum and allow more talented players sit on the bench.I honestly don't understand why BB would be a bad hire. I'm afraid he wouldn't want to join this train wreck of a program.

Are you a Davis hater? If you are, Bielema may not be the coach for you. BB's offense at Wisconsin was more like Davis' offense. At least two major differences between B.B.'s Wisky offense and Iowa's traditional offense: no zone blocking and an average of 330+ pounds across the OLine.

Biels won the LAST THREE B1G titles before moving on to the SEC West, where in year 2 he has already built a better team than Iowa. Also, he’s recruiting really really well, is a perfect match for Iowa stylistically, and has (gasp) trick plays that make games (gasp) not excruciating to watch. Plus, he’d run up the score on the clones.

So what? KF won 2 B1G title in 3 years at one point. Blabba da Hut is a smarmy POS and Iowa can do 100X better than him. He is Gene Chizik and Lane Kiffen rolled into one fat ball of crap, he is cut of the exact same cloth as those scum bags.

I would love to get Bielema, he took over Wisky when them and Iowa were on equal ground, by the time he left it wasn't even close, Wisconsin was one of the elite B10 teams and now were left hoping for seven wins against one of the all time weakest schedules

I know enough people who were in IC when Blabba the Hut was there. Lets put it this way, the next person I hear say a nice thing about him personally will be the first. You gotta understand that people in IC love to cheer for the players and coaches, and I RARELY hear bad things about players and coaches. With da Hut it is just the opposite, not a good word is said about him. Brash? Fine. Cocky? I don't care. Douchenozzle? I got problems with that.
