Butler over Seton Hall

This one is weird to me because Iowa lost to Seton Hall so you'd think them beating butler would help us. However, since we're both on the bubble we want Seton Hall to lose...which would in turn slightly hurt our RPI.

The madness of march...

Agreed. Get the Hall off the bubble.

I'm thinking that it's better that our good wins look better, than it is for our losses to look better. The point or two our RPI might drop would be worth it IMO if it weakens the bubble even more. Plus, I don't think losing to Butler would hurt Seton Hall's RPI all that much anyway, and by extension, our RPI.

Wouldn't Michigan losing help us more than them winning at Nebraska? A loss drops Michigan's RPI's into the 50s and potentially setting up an elimination game against Illinois in the BTT.

I thought about that too. I'm not sure on which result would help us to the most.

Then I guess there's only one thing left to do

Lunardi at ESPN just put us in his bubble watch. I think we get in if we beat Penn State and win two in the Big 10 tournament. It also helps that we've gotten hot late.

So if iowa, MSU, and Minnesota win, we would have finished in a tie for 2nd with that Minnesota win. Crazy. Right now I'm rooting against MSU and Northwestern so we can finish tied for 5th with a win.
