I root for anything that helps Iowa, but I am also a state institution sympathizer. I root for any Iowa school to do well unless playing the hawks. I believe it helps UI in the Big picture.

Blasphemy! So lets say ISU somehow creates a football culture where they win 6 games a year doubling their win totals in the Paul Rhoads era, that somehow helps us in recruiting instate kids? Can you image the irreverence they will possess if they somehow win 6 games in ONE year. Better to keep that dog chained to the fence.
