BTN in Dallas, Tx

I currently live in Des Moines but will be moving to the dallas area soon. I'm just wondering if there are any Hawks on this board in the dallas area that could tell me what I can expect to have to pay for a cable package that includes BTN. Thanks for the help.

I would go with DirecTV if it is a possibility where you will be living. Cable probably limited to just main channel and no overflow available for football games.

My brother-in-law had TWC at his old house and had BTN as part of his package. I think it started at $70/month, but they had internet through TWC as well.

I wouldn't wish TWC on anyone, horrible customer service. I believe ESPNU (which carries many Iowa games) isn't on TWC's most popular packages as well. I have Verizon FiOS and get BTN through my service including overflow channels.

Check if AT&T's U-verse is available in your new hood as it has the BTN plus overflow channels starting on its second tier U200 package. After initial discounts expect to pay in the $180-$225 range if you go for the full cable, VOIP, internet bundle. They also recently made WatchESPN and BTN2Go available to subscribers also.

Now if only Google would carry the BTN. . .

I moved to Dallas in 05 and have had Directv ever since. They have special deals for new customers, but expect to pay under $100 a month.

anyone in Dallas ever head to Wizards or Buffalo Wild Wings in Lewisville for game day? I'd like to start a Frisco/Plano/McKinney game watch location, but need to find out the level of interest.

When I lived in Plano about 10 years ago, the place to go was Wizards to watch all of the Iowa games. I don't know how it is anymore.
