Is absolutely terrible. I suppose I should have expected this before I started watching. The analysts are fine, and it's good to hear Julian Vandervelde back in Iowa City. But the cameramen spend more time showing close-ups of Kurt and the back-ups standing to the side than they do the actual drills that are being run.

The defense is usually ahead of the offense at this point of the season, but today our D looks very fast and very energized. I think the potential is there for our defense to be pretty good this year, they just need to gain experience quickly (particularly in the front four).

How is watching Kurt any less interesting than watching teh team sleepwalk through drills?

That is my hope. Like when Mattison took Michigan last year, with their speed, and went to an attacking defense, with success.

I hope that Phil Parker looks at what we have, and makes lemonade out of our lemon-sized front four by going all out speed attack. We do not play Wisky,so that is one giant o-line we do not need to worry about. Otherwise, the teams on our schedule do not seem as giant as Wisky in the oline,so maybe we get by with 7-8 in the box running to the ball?
