I think we finish better than 10th again. Wouldn't be surprised to wind up ahead of Indiana, Minnesota, Northwestern and Nebraska.

I would say 8, 9 and 10 are close calls. I actually think we are better than both Indiana and Minn.

I definitely think we can end up somewhere in the 6-9 spot. The only way I see us in the 10 or 11 spot is injuries. I really like the way this team played down the stretch last year, and for the first time in forever we have a core group returning.

6th place is where I have us finishing. We will be squarely on the bubble heading into B10 tourny. 6th place is also a kiss of death because iirc we will play the 5th seed in our first round - MSU, Michigan or PU would be my guess. If we win, we are in, if we lose (likely) then its NIT bound.

8th or 9th, but I am not ruling out 6th or 7th with a NIT bid. I think anyone expecting more is just setting themselves up for disappointment. This tean will still be fun to watch no matter what the outcome.

I would be happy with the NIT this year, our early schedule is not that daunting and we may sneak into the bubble talk for the big dance...6th place doesn't feel like such a stretch.

What are you talking about?? First round would be against a 11th seed. Second round would be vs 3rd seed.
Michigan' success is basically entirely dependent on Burke being able to run things and create from day one. If he can't create shots they are going to struggle. The same goes for NW who this guy has way to high. Juice was their best player and their season also depends on Cobb or a frosh being able to create shots for everyone else.
I think Illinois is the most underrated team in the Big Ten. I am a firm believer that all the talent lost will be made up by equally talented players who (hopefully for Ill fans) lack the awful attitudes that preceded them.
The mid to the bottom (besides PSU) is a complete toss up.
