Zach had it to -6 after a birdie on the first hole, but he's +4 since then. He had better get it together or he'll be out of it. He's already 8 shot back of the lead after starting the day only 1 back.

It has nothing to do with banging waitresses. He's been a complete a-hole his entire career. I didn't just start hating him a few years ago - my contempt goes back to his early days.

From Rick Reilly's recent column comparing Tiger with Roger Federer:

At the same time, I've never met anybody in golf less interested in others than Woods. If Federer acts like a reluctant god, Woods acts like a hand-picked one. There's a reason that, when Woods is done with people, they tend to rat him out. The Coach. The Caddie. The Girlfriends. You get treated like a beer can somebody's kicking along the road, you want to kick back. Is it just a coincidence that the Federers are still seen socializing with Woods' ex but not with Woods himself?

I can't root for people like this. They **** me off. I've been reading similar sentiments about Tiger for over 10 years now. So if you're willing to overlook all this because he's a great golfer, that's certainly your right.

But not me.

what a crock. unless he runs around drowning kittens, electricuting dogs, or molesting boys what do you care? i dont give a rats *** how he treats his employees after they no longer work for him. he wasnt paying them to be his friend.

Duff, you have nofa king chance of ever playing Royal Lytham & St. Annes. I am certain that you don't own any smart tailored shorts or smart trousers.

What we expect from you
* When playing at Royal Lytham you have a responsibility to behave in a manner that does not spoil the enjoyment of other Visitors or Members of the Club.
* Etiquette and Slow Play
We understand that every golfer does not play to the same standard or at the same speed. It is most inconsiderate to hold up players behind you and to do so would ruin their day. PLEASE CALL THEM THROUGH. A Fourball should take no longer than 4 hours.
* Our bunkers are very difficult even when properly raked –unraked bunkers can be virtually impossible. Please do not leave a bunker without raking it.
* Help us to keep the Course in fine condition: please replace divots and repair pitch marks.
* Dress and Mobile Phones
Golf shoes are required on the Course but are not permitted upstairs in the Clubhouse. Trainers are not permitted on the Course or in the Clubhouse. Smart tailored shorts with white socks are permitted on the Course but not upstairs in the Clubhouse. Trousers must be smart. Denim jeans and track suits are not permitted on the Course or in the Clubhouse. Shirts must be smart and have collars and sleeves. Shirts must be worn inside the trousers or shorts. Hats and outerwear are not permitted upstairs in the Clubhouse. Jackets and Ties are required for Dinner. Ladies shorts must be knee length and short skirts are not permitted.

The use of mobile phones is not permitted on the Courses, the practice facilities or in the Clubhouse.
