I have forced myself to watch that game on b1g net a couple of times. Everytime I am hoping that fake punt doesn't get pulled off... damn. :(

It doesn't, because I turn off the tv just before the play. It seems to work for me.

I second this. Does anyone else just despise punt returns? I mean ever since Timmy D was back there I'd just about rather see the regular D be out there with just a deep safety to field it. I'd rather see any punt just fielded for no return than all the risky things that seem to go wrong with em. Seems like the fakes and muffs that go against you just stick in my head and frustrate me the older I get. Even tho the majority of them are fielded fine.

that was a very good college football game. Both teams with talent duking it out. Badgers made a few more plays than did Iowa to win the game. If the offense scored a TD after Greenwood's INT the game is likely over. But Iowa didn't and Badgers went on to get the fake punt and the go-ahead TD.

For all the grief the D took for the fourth-quarter problems that year, in this game they did step up. Stopped Wisky after Iowa took the lead with Greenwood's pick. Then stopped Badgers again, only to have the punt team give up the fake.
 
Ahh yes this game, the game I passed out in the first half in the SE endzone small restroom off the path there going into the game, first and last time that ever happens. How I never got caught sleeping on the floor of the wheelchair stall is beyond me. Awoke at half time and went out and watched a great 2nd half until that horrendous fake punt that even my drunk a$$ could see coming from the stands but coach didn't hear me!

The next words out of his mouth...."it is a fake and he has the first down." I am biting my tongue here, it's over with and done. A learning experience for the coaching staff.

Everyone in the stadium, and everyone watching at home thought the same thing. How the coaches didn't is beyond me.
 
He's probly the most impressive person I have interviewed re: total control, command, and holding court of anyone. I have interviewed more than 1000 people in my life, easy. He's near or at the top. I can't imagine turning him down on the recruiting trails...but those trails are filled with good talkers ;)
