Agree. Florida is going to get better and better as they incorporate the 6'9'' stud who just became eligible..."

So last night over rated KU and iSU lose on road, and tonight, we see true to form MICH down 9, and over rated Wichy State and SDSU will both be in trouble tonight....

Road is not friendly to those as SDSU falls to. Penn State-esque team...

March 8, 1980. It's the only NCAA tournament game I've ever attended in which Iowa played. Hawkeye Whitney was incredibly frustrated that day. Lester, Brookins, Boyle, and Arnold carved up the Wolfpack. I can't remember a white bald player for N.C. State.

Did you live in Philly, my home town.....

Marty Headd played for the Syracuse Orangemen.....

I would prefer to be 6 seed than a 5 and a 3 seed over a 4.

I agree, I would rather see Iowa be a 3 or a 6 seed. A 4 and 5 seed would put you right in line to play the 1 seed in the Sweet 16 with some tough games to get there. But for Iowa to drop to a 6 seed means they did not finish strong, not sure I want to see that either.

Dude, you are a genius. Please continue to share that vast wisdom of yours. /s

Saw Lunardi's was updated today. Iowa still on the five line playing the winner of Georgetown and West Virginia. Not a fan of playing a "second round" game against a play in team that has some confidence and you've been sitting around waiting for a week. Especially scary against a Major conference team.

iSU is on the 4 line in the East with a potential sweet 16 matchup against Syracuse. That would actually be a somewhat favorable matchup for iSU vs that zone with all of their starters being able to extend the floor.

Have you seen us shoot ft's??

Iowa is tied for 76th in the nation and shoots 72.6%. Florida is ranked 289th and shoots 66.3%. We think Iowa isn't good at shooting free throws, but Florida is one of the absolute worst teams in the country at it.

But I do like the potential Sweet 16 matchup against Wichita State. I like that bracket, you could have 3 of the 4 Sweet 16 members being from the Big Ten. I think Ohio State would match up favorably against Kansas and he has Michigan as the 2 seed.

If we can't get the 3 seed then I want the 4 seed. The reason being that you have a 25% chance to draw the #12 seed in the round of 32. The #5 seeds win, I believe, at only about a 75% clip. Compared to 90%+ for the Top 4 seeds. So the odds of making the Sweet 16 are much better as the #4 than as the #6 where you are just about guaranteed to play the #3 seed. I'd rather take my chances in the Sweet 16 against the #1 seed than have a lot lower odds of even making the Sweet 16 as the #6 seed.

I think Michigan State will be a two seed at least, but I can't see two Big teams being two seeds....

Hopefully so, I would love a three seed....

The year we lost to Louisville in the Final Four, we beat number one in the East Syracuse to get there.....

I can see Kansas, Duke, Villanova, Louisville, and Michigan State considered for second seed if they win their conference championships.....

Michigan is ranked 15 and 18, however it they win at Wisconsin and take MSU at Ann Arbor they should move up, and perhaps be considered for a 2 seed, but a 3 seed seems more likely if they come close to winning out in the regular season, which is possible with their schedule.
