The minute Kurt gives a hint of stepping down, Barta ain't beholden to him anymore. Stoops and Kurt are friends, Stoops will hire The Brain after an "exhaustive process" that finds no other possible qualified candidates.

I like that. I agree that "fit" will be used in addition to "exhaustive process" in the press conference announcing him as the new coach.

I think that is great. Hope he comes around more often. Heck I would love to see him on the sidelines again even if it’s just as a water boy

I saw Bob Stoops at the bar at the Marriott in Cedar Rapids last night. He ordered a coke, called a car and walked out. He and Kirk were both there speaking at a leadership seminar for Rockwell Collins. He looked good for a guy my age!

Rockwell is being bought by United Technologies Corporation. This is probably a metaphor that Stoops is going to take over Iowa. It makes perfect sense.

At least he got to the big games every now and then. Here at Iowa we wouldn’t have a clue what that is about even though we have been paying a salary for eighteen years that falls into the catagory if expecting such.

Some Iowa fans are so devoid that they probably thought the people who died in Waco were lucky to get a free barbecue. Really it’s too bad that Jones was visiting Waco that day then.................. yeah you see it coming don’t cha............then they could have had free cool aid with that barbecue.
