Just saw Ricky Davis will be on the Ghost Ballers with Mike Bibby. Reggie Evans will play for the Killer 3's with Steven Jackson.

It's a 3 on 3 League put together by Ice Cube. Former NBA players will play and some of the coaches will be Gary Payton, Rick Barry, Julius Irving, Clyde Drexler and more. There will be some different parts to the game, I heard of a 4 point shot.

I don't know half the names so this is a complete guess but I would say Chauncey Billups, Stephen Jackson and Reggie Evans would be one of the better teams but I wonder how Reggies game will transiton to 3-3. With only 3 guys on the floor it's harder to hide a lack of offensive skill set.

Ricky only had 4 points but announcers kept saying he looked like he could still be in NBA. His team beat Iversons team.
Reggie had 18 points and 12 boards and lost their second game to Kenyon Martins team.

it will, but its very unlikely that current NBA players will be playing in it. They might not even be allowed to. So you're not going to see Lebron/Durant/Kawhi vs Spain (Gasol/Rubio/hernangomez?)
Its more of a showcase...think beach volleyball. Its not regular volleyball but its fun to watch for different reasons...sometimes more fun. It will be halfcourt basketball and scored in 1's and 2's instead of 2's and 3's. This is huge because a 3 pointer will be worth twice as many points as a regular bucket. So shooting will be a high priority
I think more than anything people are sick of the USA showing up with 10 dream teamers and stomping everyone. So in the 3 on 3 game each country only needs 3 players and could actually win the tournament. Especially if NBA players aren't allowed.

3 on 3 is terrific for youth basketball. It is instrumental in teaching young players offensive concepts, spacing, reads, etc.. It then correlates to the 5 on 5 game well and slows the game down for them.

Help me out here a little. Who is Ricky Davis? Did he play for Hawks? Ok, I kid, I kid. It did bring up a question though for all of you. I don't know the answer to this but some of you may know. Maybe Ricky is the only one.
When was the last time Iowa's basketball program had a one and done? Was Ricky the only one? Problem children don't count. One and done to go pro?
