As much as I am not happy with this environment in college football, that is the environment and I would advocate for him to not play in a bowl. I think he will probably play against Nebraska. An outside chance for an invite maybe to NY? Certainly a chance to earn other awards that while seemingly meaningless, would not hurt to have on your shelf if the NFL doesn't pan out either by circumstance or injury.
