Here are the top 7 teams' records against the other 6 teams. In parentheses is the number of games remaining against the other 6. Anything stand out?

Iowa 5-0 (5)
Indiana 1-0 (6)
Maryland 1-2 (5)
Michigan 1-2 (6)
Purdue 2-2 (5)
Ohio State 0-3 (5)
MSU 1-2 (5)

That math is not your strength? (14-7=7)

If you remove Iowa from being considered one of the top teams (we were picked bottom half preseason) then MSU only played the other top teams 4 times? But even counting Iowa, they only play the other top 6 teams a total of 6 times and 2 were against Iowa?

So there are 6 other teams but you have Indiana and MSU playing 6 total games against them. They both play us twice so which team do they play zero times?

Sorry. Was done pooping before I could double-check my work. Tried to fix it now. Should be more accurate, but am done pooping again. May need tacos for lunch before I get a chance to double-check my work again.

Productive poop. Have you tried the bracket generator yet? It's about time to get that thread going again.

Haven't. I'm a little scared that I'm going to get Iowa winning the title by 3 games and then be in for a depressing finish.

God, if we win Thursday this race may be unofficially over. We're already at a point where finishing outside the top 4 would be difficult.

We definitely didn't get any schedule favors this year. Although I hate to say it the comments we say about Indiana are the same things people said about us during football season.

The difference is the football team had played a good schedule TO DATE when they were getting ripped. Indiana has played an extremely easy schedule TO DATE. Their overall conference schedule is probably the easiest in the BIG 10.

If Iowa wins the Big Ten with THAT schedule, they deserve it and nobody can detract from what they did.

It should also be pointed out that 4 of their 5 remaining games against these teams are on the ROAD. Making it that much tougher

I disagree. This might be true if we were losing most of these games but that's not the case. We're winning. The Selection Committee's love for the RPI makes our more difficult schedule favorable IMO. Iowa's RPI is 7. Indiana's RPI is 40.

I don't think Indiana has any chance at the conference championship. I think it's all Iowa and Maryland...barring injuries on either team. And my opinion on this doesn't change regardless of the outcome tomorrow night. But if Iowa and Indiana were to finish tied for the conference championship...say 15-3...Iowa is probably a 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Indiana is probably a 4 or 5.

When Indiana hosts Maryland in the season finale I suspect we will all be cheering for Indiana...if this game even matters at that point.

Not sure what this means. Are you talking about "the top 7 teams' records against the other 6" line, and the fact that there are 14 teams in the Big Ten? I meant the top 7 teams against the other 6 top teams. For example, Iowa is one of the top 7, so they can only play the other 6. Sorry for the phrasing.

P.S. I chuckled as well, considering the fact that I teach math at the college level (Precalc-Calc 3 and Stats I and II) and have a Masters in math working towards my PHD. :) It's really the only thing I'm good at (according to my wife:()
