Big East Championship - ESPN 3D

getting ready to watch the big east championship game on my 73" 3D dlp.

Haven't caught any 3D basketball yet, so excited to see what 3D does for the game. Football in 3D isn't the greatest. too many players and a lot of movement isn't ideal for 3D, but some of it can be really cool. I think basketball will be better suited for 3D. anyone else watching in 3D?

What type of tv do you have? Since its a 73 inch I'm guessing a Mitzi.

I think the 3D channels have a ways to go but it's a cool technology.

3D for consumer use is a gimmick. 3D in a business situation is much better, but the consumer lines have a long way to go.

I got a 3D TV a few weeks ago. I like basketball on it for a few minutes, but I got vertigo watching the UConn-Syracuse game. It does look like you are sitting in the arena but they need to get the camera in a spot where there aren't arms flying up all the time, that's what gave me vertigo I think.

3d is pretty cool for hoops. You appreciate the spacing better.
