Big 10 Championship game stadium

Where do you think it would be played? I've listed in order some NFL stadiums in the B10 region based on what I think the probability it would be played.

Lucas Oil Stadium (probable)
Ford Field (2nd choice to Lucas Oil)
Soldier Field (moderate chance due to B10 presence in Chicago)
Cleveland Municipal Stadium (slim chance)
Heinz Field (slimmer chance)
Paul Brown Stadium (doubtful)
Lambeau Field (doubtful)
Metrodome (wont happen)

Could it possibly rotate like the B12 and ACC do? Or maybe be similar to basketball where it rotates between Indy and Chicago.

Just curious on people's thoughts.
 
I'd say put it in a city where there is some cool **** to do - like Pittsburgh or Chicago. Stay away from Detroit.

I'd go to Pittsburgh just for Primanti Bros and Yuenglings, **** the game.
 
I would bet Lucas Oil would be the first, and then Ford Field. I could see a rotation. I guarantee it would be indoors. The networks and powers that be like the championship games to be "climate controlled."

The Big 12 championship is played in KC every other year, and the ACC championship rotates between Tampa and Jacksonville.
 
I think Lucas Oil Stadium and Ford Field would rotate, though I would love to see it at Lambeau Field or Soldier Field. I had this wacky thought of playing it at the dome in Toronto (if we added Syracuse) and then realized that was a stupid idea. Also, I think that by the time there is a Big 10 championship game to be played, there will be a new stadium, likely with a retractable roof, in Minneapolis, so that would be a great facility as well (though we could have the LA Vikings soon if there is no new stadium--a sad thought).
Edit: If we added Missouri, St. Louis could also host the game at the Edward Jones Dome.
 
Soldier Field works for me,cept it only seats 62,000 and if they are having a championship game to increase revenues...might need more seats.

Not sure how many fans it would draw,but if it was Iowa,OSU,Michigan,PSU or Wisky, probably could sell out a bigger venue.
 
Why not just rotate it between Ann Arbor and State College and tell the home schools they can't have a majority of the tickets, even if their team is in the game? This way, the number of seats is at an absolute maximum and the conference doesn't have pay rental fees. It would give an advantage to the home school, but no more than having a game in Pittsburgh gives an advantage to PSU, Detroit to Michigan, Cleveland to OSU/Michigan, or Indianapolis to Indiana/Purdue/(ND).
 
As others have pointed out Lucas Oil and Ford Field are the only two that make a lot of sense all things considered.
 
By the time the Big10 plays a Championship game, global warming will have really kicked in and it'll be dry, sunny and 80* anywhere you go throughout the midwest..

Lucas Field-Indianapolis is the logical choice if the new team is ND, Pitt, or Rutgers. A rotation with Ford Dome-Detroit makes sense; to placate teams from Michigan, Minn, Wisc. Soldier Field & Pittsburg should be eliminated as too cold in December for a team to win out of and get ready for their BCS game. (A Big-12 team has never played well in their BCS game, qualifying out of a freezing Kansas City.) If the Big Ten presidents should happen to pick Missouri as the 12th conference team I think a game at Jones Dome-St. Louis should get at least every third game. St. Louis is a GREAT host city; more fun than Indy or Detroit.
