me im still gonna have to take 2004, but that gap is closing.

I think it's 2004 and I don't think it's close. As good as this d-line has been the 2004 d-line was just awesome. They put a ton of pressure on the QB, and unlike this years d-line, they were a stone wall in run defense. Roth and Babineaux were just incredible.

Thinking about it if I were to combine the two defenses to create a super defense:

DE: Roth
DE:Clayborn
DT:Babineaux
DT:Ballard/Luebke

OLB:Greenway
MLB:Hodge
OLB:Edds

CB:Spievey
FS:Considine
SS:Sash
CB:Johnson

Definitely the 2004 defense. They were scary. They instilled fear into the opposing team. It would take another solid year next year by this same d-line to be comparable to 2004.
