PG: Gesell - He has to become a PG next season; I think he pressed his first two seasons trying to not be the player he was in HS, but the transition is still in progress. Look for him to be a solid PG next season.
SG: Jok - Quit telling me how he plays defense, Iowa needs a guy like Jok to blow it up on the offensive end night in and night out. He has the most potential to be great than anyone else on the roster and it isn't close.
SF: Uthoff - One of the more athletic players, needs to get stronger, but he has good all-around skills and looked like he took two years off.
PF: White - The kid shoots 83% from the line, set up plays for him to catch and shoot from 15 ft anywhere on the floor and he will be scary good.
C: Woodbury - Get someone in the high post who can hit a shot and it will be difficult to double him, I expect Adam to be an all-conference type performer next season, if Iowa just throws him the ball.
Bench:
G: Clemmons - Iowa needs him to be the defensive player he can be. No need to worry about him scoring, just run the team and play defense. The issue he has is he was not a true PG in HS, just like Gesell.
G: Dickerson - Put him in the lineup and take Uthoff out if Fran wants to go small and bring pressure.
G: Oglesbly - The team has to stop staring and watching him on the offensive end when he is on the floor. Cannot be anything more than the third option in any set. That is not a knock, but if Jok/White/Woodbury are on the floor with him in any combination, they have to lead Iowa in scoring next year.
G: Ellingson - Freshman and unless he shows a ton, don't expect to see him a whole lot next year, possible redshirt.
F: Uhl - Same as above
F: Meyer - Probably another year away from seriously contributing, put him in with foul trouble happens.
C/F: Olaseni - Potential, but bball skill level is still way behind, he fell apart at the end of the season, most like me wish he would have been redshirted his freshman year, oh well, just be consistent and he may see time on the floor with Woodbury.
