B1G better than Big 12, only 2nd to SEC

Good article about the upcoming discussions on how the playoff formats will work (which bowls), who will help select, and how the money generated will be divided.

B1G was #2 in a weighted format of the BCS ratings since they started in 1998. We were a far cry from #1 SEC, but well ahead of 3rd conference, Big 12.

44 points is well ahead? You should stop posting. KSU makes it to the title game this year and the Big 10 likely gets caught.

44 points ahead with two extra teams, one of which attained all of it's points while playing in the B12.

Not impressive.

And the Big 12 has 2 schools (WVU, TCU who obtained all of their points in a different conference so what's your point?

Was not posted to be impressive, only to be informative.

Your point is moot anyhow, as W Va and TCU probably more than offset nebby. Further, the big 12 is actually the conference that had more teams for all but 1 year IIRC.
