So, on a visit like this I'd be curious what kind of conversations take place between Atwood and current players. Do you think he'll ask "so what happened to you guys at the end of the year?"... and get a good answer?
 
I think Atwood comes to Iowa.

So the starting lineup could be:
Gesell - PG
Oglesby - SG
Atwood - SF
White - PF
Woodbury - Post

Key bench players:
Dickerson - will get as much PT as Mike
Jok
Uthoff
Olaseni - will get as much PT as Adam
Uhl
Ellingson
Clemmons - if he's still at Iowa
 
Damn good question HD1....247sports has us at a 40% chance of gettin him...I hope we have a better understanding of this kid after his visit...

They could say that at the end of the season we celebrated on Selection Sunday, went to the NCAA Tournament and played into overtime ... as opposed to Virginia Tech, which went home after losing 22 times.

They could say that.
 
Andrew Francis has been recruiting him, so I'm hopeful those two have created a strong bond and trust with one another....he would be an absolute beast....I do like our chances....

Who says Dickerson is going to be on the bench to start games? I bet he doesn't think so. I'm sure Fran is going to play the best guy at point, whoever that is.

I think Fran will play the best players at the right time, whether starting or not.

I think Iowa gets off to fast starts with Gesell running the point and the offense runs pretty well with Gesell running the point.

The hawks seem to stall sometimes in the last 10 minutes and especially the last 5 minutes of each half. Why??

We had a poor last 5 minutes of both halves against Tennessee to lose the game. And in many of the last 10-15 games.

I dont care if Trey D. starts or not as long as we have a smooth running offense. We need to have the best players both defensively and offensively on the court especially in the first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes of each half as all of you know from years of coaches and analysts telling us that.

I think Jok will get more time than Oglesby.
