The plane's last audio contact was with air traffic control just before switching to Vietnamese ATC. Military radar picked it up flying in the wrong direction. No one said anything about it for a few days. The Malaysians have reached out to get Thailand's radar data and it seems to corroborate the Malaysian military's story. All we know at this point is that there is a lot more speculation than facts.
