Gary Barta absolutely has to offer Bruce Pearl the job. Iowa fans are already ******. Imagine how angry we'd be if we found out Barta didn't do everything possible to bring Pearl to Iowa City. I also think the Iowa job would be appealing to Pearl. We'll pay him whatever he wants, he'll be getting a brand new practice facility along with all the improvements under way at CHA. Plus, the style of basketball he coaches is so different than what most Big Ten schools play. That should make us extemely difficult to prepare for. And he'll be joining a league that has their own network!
