Are You Renewing Your Season Tickets?

I want to say I am definitively, but I do not know yet. At roughly $850.00 for a pair, I will have to think about it, sorry to say. A few years ago, it was a no brainer, but now, not so much.

I love my Hawks, don't get me wrong. I also love the game day experience (tailgating, good scenery, etc.). But times are getting tougher in the Fever household, just as they are for everyone else.

Do I spend $65 per ticket for games against N Illinois, Missouri St, W Mich, etc., or wait for the big games and scalp? Michigan and Wisconsin are the only two games that I would drool at, and they appear to be likely losses at this point.

Please don't paint me as a fair weather fan, but recent disappointments have led me to this point. Game day experiences always make me smile, but my smile is always a little bigger when I walk out of Kinnick knowing my Hawks won. I can sulk much better in my own living room.

Ticket applications are due about the time golf season gets rolling. I cannot do both. Season tickets or family membership? Hmmmm....

Yes.....I dont gots time to be scalping when I should be drinking. I dont go to all the games anymore but like to know I can have my seat next to my pops whenever I want to go.

Yes. When you give them up, it is hard to get them back.

The demand for decent seats still exceeds the supply - it is simple economics

One of the hardest season I've had to stomach in a while, but still enjoyed the "gameday". After the Central Michigan game, I really didn't expect much but still had a great time tailgating and hanging with "gang" in section 131.

Not to be a stickler but that's really the definition of a "fair weather fan".

I beg to differ.

Fair weather fans root for teams that are doing well. When the teams suffer, fair weather fans stop cheering for them.

I will NEVER stop cheering for the Hawks. The question remains whether it will be from the North stands or from my sofa or a local pub.

I applaud all of you for your loyalty regarding season ticket renewals, and more than likely I will renew myself. I just won't know for sure until I pull the trigger. That has not happened in a while.

Walking definition of fair weather. But trying to talk his way out of it.

I'll be renewing.
