Are You Renewing Your Season Tickets?

Without a doubt. I brought my daughter to her first game (Iowa vs Nebby) and she's hooked.

Even if we have another bad year, I'd renew for the time I get to spend with my shorties and homies.

Yes, I will get my two season tickets again next fall; and, I will attend all of the away games. And, I will drive 800 miles round trip to get to Kinnick and won't even blink.

Yes, but I would like to think mr barta would not raise prices any or much at all. I have been disappointed with the cohesiveness I see on the field.

Reading thru this thread..Buying season tickets doesn't have much to do with the product on the field. Kinnick has become a reunion destination to share beers with and hang out with friends and family. The college fb version of Wrigley field. Not saying that is a bad thing.

The difference is people actually still watch the game on the field at Kinnick where a lot of the Bleacher Bums just go there to tan and get drunk. And yes, I am a Cubs fan but I can admit Wrigley has a lot of tools that go there.

I admit I am still kicking around the idea of renewing my tickets or not. On one hand, I have had season tickets for this being my 10th year. While the product on the field is definitely not helping me teeter in the direction of renewing, there are other factors that play into my decision ... wife's work schedule, my own work, etc. While many posters in this thread say they are renewing, many of my friends in Des Moines are doing just the opposite. I think for them, there are a millon other things they could be doing in Des Moines during the weekend ... For one buddy, he lives in a small town and says he simply gets tickets because there really is not much going on where he lives so going to Iowa City for 6 or 7 Saturdays is the highlight of the year. I see both sides ... Either way, we will still see a full Kinnick Stadium next year ... Gary will be happy :)

Coming off the 2009 year I always had to laugh at how many peoples schedules or family situations finally allowed them to put in for season tickets for the first time ever. And then when they didnt get them they cried about the existing season tickets holders adding all these extra seats.

Whar all first time applicants now? Whar?

I won't be. But, to be fair, my season ticket prices are about to jump from $150 to $850.
