It's not easy to notice an individual defensive performance during a game. You really have to be good at not watching the ball and knowing what to look for. Has anything 5656 ever said suggest he's that type of observer?
So he is comparable over the last 6 games to one of the best freshmen in the country but he still sucks because what he did 7 games ago?
I think Crandall made him look silly at times Tuesday night. I don't think he played great defense against Stetson either. McCloud is absolutely terrible, I can't believe Jake rode with him that long last night when he was getting destroyed. Thomas put up 7 points on him in 4 minutes. Long, Morris and Babb each scored 10 points that game so I highly doubt that if he defended them he never gave up a single bucket besides to any of them. Jackson played 12 minutes, Thomas put up 7 in 4 minutes so you're going to make me believe Bohannon held 3 players that all had double digit points in the game to 0 points in 14 minutes of defense?
Moore has been very good this season. Bohannon has been below average this season.

All because of games that are way in the rear view mirror at least. In the last 6 games, JB is playing comparable to one of the best freshmen in the country. You might be higher on JB than I am at this point.
I was going to tell you you're way too optimistic about JB to say he's comparable to a guy you think is one of the best freshmen in the country, but then I realized it would be stupid of me to try to convince a fellow hawk fan that he's too high on one of our players.

Crandall scored at his season average. McCloud was held under his season average.
Jordan gave up a bucket to Long, besides that he was only on Morris or Babb for a possession or two and mainly because of switches. He didn't allow them to score tho, cause I was watching that specifically when I watched it again. You must have watched in a bar with you Clown friends and been crying most of the time.
It is simply a fabrication by you hat he is a horrible defender. I have been watching him because you have been advancing this and you are wrong, he isn't horrible, like you claim.
I was at the Iowa State game and I know he got abused by Thomas out of the gate, no clue why Fran would put him on him in the first place and I know he gave up at least two 3's to Long for sure. By the way why is it every time he makes a 3 he has to do some celebration like he just won a national title. I think that whole team is a bunch of prima donnas outside of Thomas. I can at least respect the way he plays the game

Bahahaha....respect Thomas? Lol man. You are ripping Jordan up and down and Thomas who was a freaking top 50 recruit had a 9.6 PER his Fr year. So Jordan is playing pretty much playing as well as a Clowns top 50 recruit as a Fr, and you "respect" the Clowns player, but rip on Jordan 24/7 nonstop. I couldn't make this shit up if I was trying to make you look like a Clown fan.
Thomas was terrible his first two years, he's still been a bust overall. I respect the way he plays because he just goes out there and does his thing and isn't a cocky punk like Morris and Long

Bust overall? WTF are you smoking? He is a career 38% 3 pt shooter. He is a solid player, I'd take him over Long any day, as Long is just streaky, and simply kills the team some nights. Thomas is consistent and solid.
You say Mike is good, but Thomas is a bust???? You say Mike was good as a Fr, but Jordan is horrible? I mean I get the Jordan troll, but you think you score points with us Hawk fans just because you call a Clone a bust???
I think you are a troll with a low BB IQ. Not all players are 4 year studs (even top 50 kids) Jok as a Fr isn't what he is as a Jr/Sr. Thomas as a So wasn't what he is as a Jr/Sr. Jordan 12 games into his career isn't what he will be as a So/Jr/Sr. That is the way it works 95% of the time.
I think Thomas overall has been a bust because he was a top 50 recruit. He's an above average player now, at least looking at his stats and was last year. I do agree he's better than Long who has always been overrated just because he hit a few big shots

Lol come on man do you realize how silly you look right now? You're all over the freaking place trying wayyyyyy too hard to make it look like JB is bad. It's really weird. Like borderline savant weird. If you have to dig this deep to try to prove that he's bad that might tell you something... he isn't. He's actually pretty damn good for a kid who came in with a ton of pressure on his shoulders and a lot to prove.
How is he pretty damn good? He's a poor defender, hasn't shot the ball well and turns the ball over too much. Thomas had a 9.6 PER as a freshman and Dean and I agree he was terrible that year but Bohannon has a 9.8 PER and he's pretty damn good. Who's looking silly now.
I feel like we keep going around in circles. Rob gave you stats that showed you he has turned the ball over way less as a starter than someone you said is one of the best freshman in the country. Others have pointed out how he's done defensively with examples. No he's not a lock down defender, but he's certainly not as "poor" as you make him out to be. Just give it up man. Did he sleep with your sister or something?
He gave up at least 13 points against ISU and that was a good defensive game according to Dean. He wasn't good defensively against North Dakota. Anyone is good defensively against McCloud and that's a perfect match up for him. The thing about him defensively is if he is playing against someone who isn't that athletic or quick he will man up on him and be fine otherwise Fran has to try to hide him. That's why he put Moss on Morris and slid Bohannon on either Thomas or Long but when you do that he's giving up a ton of strength and size. Some games he'll be fine on defense and others it will be challenging to hide him, it all depends on match ups
