Arch Manning (Not Archie)

Just read this article. His recruitment will be nuts. Every SEC school and then some will put on the full court press for him. Odds on favorites being Ole Miss/TN from where I'm sitting. But who knows maybe he'll do his own thing and pick a school that runs a pro style offense in the middle of the country ..... HA not holding my breath. Even though we've plucked one kid out of SEC country to play QB this would be a whole lot different then that.

How “refreshing” they are not accepting or advertising offers. The Mannings are super loaded and generations of fame so not sure why this is such a huge deal? What’s it cost to go to this Elite school? I’m sure the kid will be great and hope nothing but the best for him but he’s had/got every possible advantage to succeed and the genetic lottery to boot. I’m over the make someone famous because of name KUWTK era. Get off my lawn

I feel they are genuinely trying to keep the hype machine down for him as best they can. Inevitably it'll get nuts and knowing that they don't want to have it start now when he's only 15/16 yrs old. Obviously they know he'll be a D1 talent QB.. Let him focus on school and playing and getting better for now. Typically junior years is when these decisions start getting made so it won't be much longer. But let the kid be a kid for as long as they can. He's already had a childhood most can't relate to. This would just make it nuttier. I mean if your his dad or any of the other Mannings what would you do or advise? Lebron, D Wade are obviously not trying to hold the hype machine back on their kiddos. More then one way to raise kids. I'm not going to say there's a wrong way other then just to say there's a way I'd prefer more. It wouldn't be with having my kids playing HS games on national TV that I do know.
