Anyone watchin the playoffs?

I would imagine Kevin Durant has a much greater appreciation for what LeBron did in Cleveland after the last couple of weeks. It's very hard to carry a team in the playoffs all by yourself, especially when you have a head coach who is terrible offensively. Russell Westbrook has always taken too much of the blame and too little credit for the Thunder's success, I have a feeling that will change going forward.

You think Jordan gets all those rings without Pippen? I still think Westbrook is better off long term as a 2 guard. A lot of people, right or wrong, fair or unfair, are giving Durant a pass on this.

No it's obvious you need multiple good players to win a ring, that's why I never understood LeBron getting so much flak for going to Miami or why people criticized him for not getting it done in Cleveland. He tried on his own for eight years and couldn't get it done despite some of the greatest playoff performances ever. He needed help Cleveland didn't get it for him. Miami put talent around him and he's going to rip off a string of titles here.

I think Durant played great over the last few weeks, he literally had to do everything on offense. But it's just interesting how little criticism there has been compared to what LeBron got when he came up short in Cleveland.

I do think Scott Brooks needs to go and if Durant wants to win a title he should be helping to push him out.

The gutty, gritty grinder Bulls are done for this year.....too bad,fun while it lasted. Thibs coached them to a couple of brackets further than their talent this year.

For Christmas, I just want one thing....a full season of total health for the Chicago Bulls. They have not been healthy in the playoffs in 4 + years....not fair.

I can't help but think this is tied to Thibs coaching style. He gets the Bulls to play all out, playoff intensity in the regular season. He also has no problem playing guys 40+ mins in the regular season, it seems like this has led to a lot of reoccuring injuries on the Bulls during his tenure.

yes, Thibs drives his guys hard, but if you look at the injuries...DRose's ACL being the big one, not related to driving him too hard. DRose was not really that healthy last season either, and did not pile up big minutes.

Now, Noah's fractured ankle last year in the playoffs was just bad luck also. His plantar facitits is chronic, and might be a byproduct of Thibs style. Deng's spinal tap/flu was more simple bad luck this year, altho he did lead the league in minutes/game,so maybe he was run down.

I think the key is to give Thibs a roster that he totally trusts,so he can take Jo,Lu and DRose out once in awhile. Next year, with Butler,Bellinelli,Gibson,Hinrich, and Teague off the bench, maybe he will ease up some.

You already know the answer to this.........Durant is more likeable than Lebron is you know how selective fans are on whom they choose to root for and who they don't. Also, more importantly, Lebron is a real threat to Jordan's legacy, as great as Durant is he simply isn't.

Yeah but Durant already has his own movie just like Mike

70 point first half on the road... cant beat the heat if haslem and birdman are scoring in addition to the big 3. Not to mention having to deal with Ray Allens 3 point threat.

Is it me or does it seem this respect that the grizz have for the spurs has taken away the chip on the shoulder type attitude that they typically play with.

Yeah, atleast LeBron doesn't complain and spaz out like he just got shot by a drive by after every non-call when theyre up big at home. #Lebigbaby

Can we just start Spurs/Heat already? Should be a great series. #GoSpursGo

Put me down for Spurs in 6......I realize everybody and their mom will jump on the Spurs bandwagon. until Wade shows up and Bosh remembers that he was once a 20/10 guy i will stick with the Spurs in 6.

It should be a great series, Pop will have had about 10 days to prepare for Miami so I'm sure the Spurs will have some added wrinkles on both ends of the court. I think Miami will just be thrilled to play a normal sized team again, they should actually be able to play Ray Allen and Battier their usual minutes without those two getting destroyed on defense. Although with the way they have been shooting, they may not want them back out there. Also curiuous how long into the series it will be before Spoelstra puts LeBron on Parker.

Chalmers can't stop Parker from getting into the paint..... If Parker is getting into the paint at will this series is over in 4 or 5 i do not care what Lebron does.

There is no way the Heat lose a series in 4 or 5 games. Absolutely none.

Not just yet. I'm actually really enjoying this series. Not a Pacer fan, by any means, and had them wrote off before the series started, but they're playing very hard and giving Miami everything they can handle. I'm really enjoying the effort and physicality of this series and not quite ready for it to be over.
