Anyone watchin the playoffs?

Lebron, despite a few questionable plays/turnovers, in the closing minutes was huge last night. Elimination game and he comes up with a 32 pt. performance and a triple double that's clutch. Huge game for him and I think the Heat ride the momentum and win game 7. I think the Spurs chance for an NBA title ended in the closing seconds of regulation when Allen hit the three. It's been one hell of a series and either team deserves the ring. Very fun to watch.

So yeah not a bad game last night. I think the Spurs missed their chance last night.

Major choke, lead by their coach. Miami needed a 3 to tie. FOUL THEM...and deny them the 3 shot. Pretty basic stuff.

After the game, Popovich says "we don't do that". What..you don't want to win? Reminded me of a certain football coach who often has his head in the sand strategically...at key moments.

Yeah, it wouldn't shock me if Miami blew them out tomorrow......H*ll, let Ginobli get major minutes that is a guaranteed loss.

When LeBron gets locked in on defense like he did against Parker for much of the fourth, he's unbelievable. I think I enjoy watching him play defense more than watching him on offense. He basically shut down the entire Spurs offense, one that had been performing at historic levels, by himself. It was very similar to what he did to D-Rose in the ECF two years ago, just outstanding defense. Butwhat a shot it was by Parker to tie the game at 89, it's going to be very tough for the Spurs to bounce back from that loss.

Ginobili has looked washed up almost the entire playoffs, had his huge game on Sunday. Duncan has been solid but not spectacular up until game six, he had his best game of the playoffs last night, you can't expect another 30/17 game from him. Danny Green came back to earth last night. As great as the Spurs offense can look at times, it can also bog down when Parker gets worn down or can't get in the lane at will. It happened a little bit against the Grizz (game two) and Warriors (game four especially). If the Spurs are to win tomorrow, I think it's going to take Parker playing the game of his life.

Ginobili still has the step though. Actually I think he had about 5 or 6. Dude took off from damn near half court on his out of control sprint to the hoop. I've seen pee-wee YMCA ballers take less steps driving to the hoop, and I'm talking about the 4 foot ones that need to shuffle their feet 8 or 9 times just to get the ball into a position they can chuck it up there. Probably one of the greatest travels I've seen in a long time.

This travelling not being called is the essence of the NBA. It is akin to letting MLS stars use their hands.

I get its the essence of the NBA, but my god. There's players pushing the boundaries of the rule (ie. the extra step we see after alot of catches leading up to a dunk) but damn, Manu took it to a whole new level. I've seen dunk contests in which guys took less steps after picking up their dribble than Manu did. It was almost like he was trying to rewrite the rule book by taking a 4th and 5th step. I found it hillarious.

Game 7 will be a war. Labron will do everything he can to win this one. It will be interesting to see who gets hot and makes the difference. Labron of course will always play good, but who else will step up. If everyone on the Heat gets going, they will win. They are the best team. Labron is on a level of his own. I don't think Jordon ever faced anyone like Labron.

JR Smith would be a nice guy to step in and replace Ginobli next year, but I do not think his personality/attitude would work in SA. As for game 7, if SA can survive the first quarter without being down by double digits and they put pressure on Lebron late to make shots they might have a chance. I doubt it if it plays out this way, however.

If JR Smith does goes to the Spurs, we need a reality show with him and Pop, it would be a great show.

One thing I was thinking about last night, is that I wonder if Pop regrets cutting Stephen Jackson right before the playoffs. Jackson is a guy who has been in big moments before, he's tough, can hit the three, he was one of the few Spurs to come through against OKC last year. They obviously haven't needed him up until this point, but Game 6, Game 7 in the Finals on the road, having a guy like that on your bench is a nice luxury to have.

Taking the place of Tracy McGrady? Yep. :)

Imma ramble here just for the sake I like hearing myself talk.

a) I hate Lebron always will, havent always
b)The Spurs will lose by 15 tomorrow
c)The Spurs choked that game away even when I thought there was no way they would have a chance to for most of the game
d) I hate the Spurs
e) I always will
f) Lebron is a freak and I should pry turn my hater glasses off
g) Bosh actually was clutch last night
h) He still looks like a raptor
I) Sorry if anyone read this whole thing. You won't get that worthless minute of you're life back

Crown the King.

:D

What are the odds that tonight's game is interrupted by Aaron Hernandez fleeing from the cops in a white bronco driven by Gronk.

Think I am going to flip, part of me is just being a contrarian(contrarian a noun?) everyone is taking Miami, gut feeling is telling me SA is going to take this. This just feels like this is setting up for SA to win this. I was listening to Mike & Mike this morning and somebody rolled out the stat since Dec. 2011 Lebron has played in 192 games, that is a lot of basketball Lebron is running on fumes and Wade has 2 bad knees if SA can survive early and put pressure on Lebron late...... Pop and Duncan are going to get that 5th trophy.

Ehh..everyone is on fumes at this point. Parker was visibily gassed at the end of last game, Duncan scored 5 points the entire second half and OT. Ginobili looks done. I think the game goes one of two ways, Miami comes out strong, knocks down some shots and it turns into a game like game 5 of the Thunder series last year, or both teams play a tight, ugly, crazy hustle game similar to Boston-LA game 7 a few years ago, and it comes down to the wire. But I can't wait to see how it turns out.
