Anyone going to the MN game?

I'll be there! 5 of us leaving Friday morning. I always go to the Ugly Mug before the game. I believe it's $35 for a all you can drink beer and a burger basket. They also have buses that take you to the game. Don't have tickets yet but there were plenty available last year so I doubt it will be a problem to get some really cheap this year.

Ive never been, but this sounds like a good plan because we arent tailgating. Is there parking at this place?

6 in our group. Can't wait to be part of the I-35 Hawkeye parade on Friday.

What restaurants are good to take over on the way up?

I will be there. I'm not sure where yet. I might have to be in the student section... but I'd rather not.

wife and i are going, headed up late friday afternoon. Never been out of state for any hawkeye event so we are looking for place to park, and somewhere good to eat. A place to sleep would also be nice. We presume tickets outside the stadium should produce a rather thrifty price.

Hey, here's a thought: one of you sociable community organizer types should step up and host a little "BYO" Iowa tailgate for HN.commers. Pick a good spot and give everyone the coordinates.
You'll be surprised at how many nice fun Hawkeyes you'll meet.
It works...trust me.

I have season tickets for the Gophers, you should be able to buy tickets before game time below face value, Go Hawks, lets carry the goal posts out of the stadium again, greatest thing I have ever witnessed in college sports!!!!

I'm not sure on the parking situation. I think that there might be a parking ramp relatively close to the Ugly Mug but I'm not 100% on that. We usually just take a cab from our hotel downtown to the bar.

Heading up early Sat morning to meet up with a few other Minneapolis area Hawks and then proceed to the game. Looking forward to seeing the new stadium for the first time. Also curious to see if this turns out to be a "home" game for the Hawks :)

I would love to go to a game there and check out the new stadium but won't be able to this year either.. Hopefully I'll get to either the UM or MSU games.

Group of 4 of us going on a whim...planning on scoring tickets out front of the stadium. Husker fans assured that they were very plentiful, and cheap.
Go Hawks....bring back Floyd!!

i may have 2 extra tickets! i bought them and others bailed, so dont need them. they are about the 45yd line 20ish rows up behind the hawks! would take face value 70each. will repost later if i for sure am not using them!

My wife is warming on the idea of going up on Saturday. Shopping for the girls, football for the boys. Sounds good to me!

I can't not go to a game that's a 90 minute drive for me and call myself a Hawkeye fan, can I?

Still holding out on tickets though, trying to get cheap ones. Sat 35 yard line row 18 for $30/seat last year.
