Any Problems with Gopher Fans at Game

If there were unsportsman like conduct penalties for fans…The Gophers fans around us in the North end zone would have been ejected from Kinnick Stadium.

They are ranked #1 as the worst fans I have ever been around in my 42 years of going to Iowa games! That includes Wisconsin. Thats how bad it was!

Didnt know the Goofs had fans?


But they are not nice when Iowa plays in MN. Norwegian stick up the arse sort of thing.

What did they do that was so bad?
 
I did like a little adjustment our d-line made in the 2nd half. Stretching to reach the ball carrier when they were being blatantly held got a few of their plays called back.
 
I've been to every B1G stadium except Rutgers. I've been to several away games, several P12 games and several SEC games. Minnesota fans at their place are the lowest class, rudest fans anywhere. Period.

I hope their fans were treated well here, despite their behavior towards us.
 
Sat next to a group of young males, won't call them men because they did t act like it. Very disrespectful. A lot of comments made just to try and start a fight. Mostly annoying.
 
Our seats are in the North end zone and the Minni's around us weren't doing anything bad.When we played Illinois they had some mouthy fans calling CJ a baby with a few other choice names.
 
I kind of understand why those two were didn't realize they were in the bathroom, the Gophers took a dump on the field so regularly it was probably a bit misleading.

A group of Minnesota college age kids were what I call "Agitators"…their only goal was to irritate Iowa fans around them with curse words, "We Hate Iowa" chants and spitting…it was mean spirited.

Luckily a BRILLIANT Hawkeye fan (wink wink) sighted them assuming alcohol…which we all know is a no no in Historic Kinnick stadium, and alerted security. Two SNOTTY Minnesota girls were escorted out to Hawkeye jail! What a WIN that was for our side. HAHHAHAHA
 
No big problems but I wish I would have brought an umbrella. Their constant drooling was ruining my coat. I didn't hear any swearing that I know of, I mean who could tell when gopher fans speak it sounds like gibberish.
 
I guess you can't blame the fans from the North. That's how they act in their own homes and towards their own families.
