Any inside info on which QB took most 1st string snaps this week?

Halfway thru the bye week and just wondering if any info about the QBs taking practice snaps?

I hope we are not going to see a 2012 QB redux with Jake getting all the snaps, especially if the results are not good. If that happens I for one fan will be very disappointed and down on this coaching staff.

Again, not calling on JR to get benched. It would be nice if GD would call more pass plays farther down the field for Jake.

But, CJ can light a fire under this team and the team needs it. I just think CJ's running ability can add an extra dimension on naked boot legs that are a good counter play, or fake the jet sweep, fake the run to the opposite side of the jet sweep, and boot leg to throw.

Jake seems to still be limited on running which again shrinks the size of the field the defense has to play against the hawks.

Anyway, if anyone has info on the first week of practice let us know.

If CJB couldn't get in last week during that disastrous series of plays by JR, then you might as well give up on him ever getting back in the game except through injury.

Well this is a sad fact if true because it seems that Jake usually plays pretty well for about a half of each game but also gets stale and in a funk for half of a game.

Terrible waste of talent if CJ doesnt see about a quarter of playing time in every remaining game.

If the hawk offense was a finely tuned machine then I would say a two qb system might cause issues in a close game but the offense is not a cadillac, more like my old 1970 beetle bug.

On blocks, totally rusticated, and surrounded by weeds five feet tall. :)

My assumption would be CJB. this is based on that during bye weeks 2's and 3's get the majority of reps and go live with it.

Most likely JR unless CJB gets the nod, of course its up to GD, but KF has the final-OK and by the way, lets hope BS has a better day

I hear they have Jake throw nothing but 4 yard outs during the week so when he throws the 2 yards out in game they feel easier. Like jogging with weights on while training for a marathon.

If you go by the 2-Deeps, Jake is still the starter and will (or has) take a majority of the 1st team snaps.

Was kind of hopeful that this was a 2008 replay and Jake was given the chance to secure the job with playing the entire game and lead us back. He did not, and looked horrible while doing (Though KF probably felt Jake did well enough with MD going into prevent and thus us making a slight comeback was good enough)

If Jake struggles again this weekend, and not replaced I will be done watching for this year. Not that I think CJ will save the season, but it's time we put someone else in to try and provide a spark.

Not only to provide a spark but also to get CJ the experience he needs to maybe take over as starter next year.

After the Pitt game we should have just gone with CJB for awhile. I know Jake had a few nice plays against Indiana, but I'm confident if CJB would have taken the first team snaps all week, and been given a chance to get into a rhythm, we would have been fine in that game also. Maybe he takes too many risks for KF, but we are past the point of needing to take more chances with this offense. Especially because our D is not dominate. But it will be Jake all the way Saturday barring injury.
