Might be more like media honks trying the Anthony trial by predetermined conclusion instead of looking at the really poor case the prosecution presented. Nancy Grace says it's so, so we go with it? Or, yeah she probably did it so why should we have to prove it?
Circumstantial cases need to be presented in an air tight manner. They were far from that on this one. Just like the Clemons case. Prosecutors often do a crappy job.

Don't forget, OJ is also innocent.
That case was also a prosecution nightmare. Seriously? Mark Furman? How could they not have seen that from a million miles away. Another circumstantial case completely bumbled by an inept prosecution. When the Brown family was able to hire their own attorneys, they won.
Also, OJ is not innocent anymore.

Assuming any of them improve...
it's virtually the same team that just lost 20 games. the record might very well improve, however that will likely be due to strength of schedule, not vast improvements.
anyone who is holding out for a better than .500 record isn't being very realistic.

Hubbard was the one player the Hawks really needed, he could create a shot at the end of the shot clock, Cartwright was the only one last yr, hopefully Marble has improved to the point where we wont even mention Hubbard next season, I feel bad for Fran because they invested a lot of time and effort on a big risk, Getting Woodbury and Gessel would be a huge positive, the Hawks deserve to catch a break, as far as im concerned good luck Hubbard and good riddance, im going to cheer for the kids that want to be Hawkeyes!
