All-State Starting Line-up

That lineup would give up 100+ points. Btw, White is gonna be 2nd or 3rd in all-time scoring at Iowa.

1. All-Star teams tend not to play good defense. I'm sure as hell not going to say I'd start Gesell over Morris because of defense.

2. As for White, he plays the same position as Niang. White will probably finish in the top 3 in career scoring at Iowa. Niang is the one in the running for the Wooden Award and has a much more diverse offensive game, while neither player plays good defense. It's tough not to put White in there, but PF is a loaded position among these teams.

In offensive categories--White vs. Niang:

White leads Niang in: scoring, rebounding, A/TO, steals, blocks, FG%, FT%
Niang leads White in: minutes and 3-pt%

That, along with the fact that George only plays on one end of the court makes me want White over George.

As for the Wooden Award. You have a team that has been ranked top 15 for most of the year. The are going to have someone on the watch list by default. He leads them in scoring. The watch list just released is made up of players from top 15 schools, plus stat sheet stuffers from other schools.

Meanwhile, on cyfan, they are choosing 4 or 5 clones, and maybe throwing Stuttle on their team. Typical. Just wondering how it is that, with a tougher schedule (according to computers) we have nearly as many wins given the fact that they have such superior players and coach. We're also 4-4 outside the state, they're 2-6. Very Orr-like.

Probably has nothing to do with the fact that ISU embarassed you in carver without 2 of their top players.

Morris
Long
niang
Tuttle
mckay

We lose to jNW, and right on cue hear come da Clown troll Foreverdouchy........You obviously don't know anything about epic meltdowns.....that isn't the time to troll, as it is easy to stop the meltdown and beat the sh!t out of the trolls.

Here is a free tip for you. You let a rival teams meltdown just occur organically, and watch the carnage. It is the very worst time to troll, as you can get enormous satisfaction just watching them eat their own during the meltdown. Now take my advice, and GTFO of here, and let us have our meltdown.

Ha not trolling. Just speaking my opinion on this thread. That is all. You always go over the deep end and overreact.

Ok. Iowa, Iowa St and UNI all look to be on the road to the dance this year. Taking players from each team, what would be your all-state starting line-up and bench rotation? Have fun.

tuttle at center for sure ,uthoff and 3 iowa st. guys. White may get in the 2nd team. You could put 5 different guys from UNI in the next 5. It just depends what you are looking for. I think iowa would be lucky to have 2 guys in the top 10

not to be argumentative, but rather just to share facts, at least according to CBS Sports ISU has a better Strength of Schedule. Certainly the road win at Oklahoma State last night (since your post so a bit unfair) helped.
