Remember that old adage: X marks the spot?

The key word in that statement being 'mark(s)'.

Billy would be a nice get, no doubt. But, I like a couple guys a little more.
 
I can't understand why anyone would want Gillespie and his baggage. Maybe 4 or 5 years ago, but not anymore. He's talented, but too many skeletons.
 
I emailed Barta about a week ago and did not get any kind of response. Has anyone else who emailed him received any type of response?
 
Theus was my choice last time around...and then he immediately bolted New Mexico St. for the Sacramento Kings. He lasted about a year and a half at Sac town...so he does have NBA head coaching experience.
I would like them to interview him anyway. Find out if he wants to be back in college. He assisted Pitino at louisville and did a good job recruiting.
He is still remembered in Chicago as the King of Rush Street from his Bulls days...

All speculation at this point. I still want the Hawks to run the table this weekend...those tourny runs are still the bright spot in Hawkeye bb since sweet sixteen...4 days of pure joy for a Hawk fan...I love tourny time,and the conference tournys are the best college bb weekend of the year when the hawks are not in the postseason...we have a chance.
 
I emailed him earlier in the season. I didn't come out and ask for changes, but I did let him know I wouldn't be renewing my season tickets next season.

I also have been hearing a lot of chatter in Iowa City the last few days. A lot of it continues to be about Fuller(which is something I started hearing toward mid season). But now there's also a lot more talk about unhappy boosters.

I have no clue what is going to happen. As someone else said, rumors flying in Iowa City isn't a rare thing.

Here would be my guess from everything I have heard. A decent showing today and you will hear Barta come out even more in support of Lick and the future. A poor, uninspired showing and I think you see the Ultimatum Part II.
 
Give up the Fuller transfering. Not gonna happen. Bad rumor started by someone that knows better than to start it, but wants to "stir things up."

(No Jon I am not talking about you. :) )
