I hope you are right...we need Aaron in a Hawk uni next year whether Lick is here or not.
 
Rumor I have been hearing is Lick is gonna step down due to "health" reasons. Licks steps down and keeps his good standing name and probably goes back to Butler or some mid-major to coach again.

I have heard that his health concerns early in the season were very serious and he is having a lot of other health problems since then? I am not a doctor but he looked okay to me.

These are just rumors that I have been hearing, I do not claim that these are 100% true, but I have heard from several different people, some living in Iowa City that this is what is going to happen.

Fuller is not transferring, mainly because we are getting a new coach i think

I think Butler is pretty happy with their current coach

I think he is coaching his last game as the Hawkeye heach coach today. BOOM! Outta here.

I tend to agree with you. But if you think it wasn't a legitimate concern at some point of the season you are kidding yourself.

You could very well be right. Maybe others could tell he didn't seem to be enjoying himself and were concerned a transfer was very possible because of past history. Perhaps that is what pushed the panic button.

I can't get inside Fuller's head like you can and know what he was possibly thinking. So I will have to take your word for it.

If he is smart, he won't reply to you at all. Or, he'll just send a "Thanks for emailing me. Go Hawkeyes!" email.

Pollard made a huge mistake by hitting the Reply and Send buttons too quickly.

I forgot to mention that Barta did reply to my email. It was very respectable and he agreed with some of my concerns and said he hoped to win me back as a season ticket holder(paraphrasing). But he also stood by Lick and said he knew he would get things turned around, brought up the recruiting class...yada yada yada.

As much as some are upset with Barta and his tunnel vision when it comes to Lick, I would think it would be a huge positive if we do have a coaching search in the future. Coaches like to know that their AD is going to stick up for them.

Yeah, I emailed him twice last week. No response. I'm not mad that he didn't respond as long as he received the email and read it. Who knows if he did that though. However, I would encourage you to keep writing.:)

Holy crap my source was right? I used to never believe him because he would always come up with crap. But this time he actually told me the truth!
