I liked the discussion of the short, choppy steps when closing in on the opponents on defense. That's a subtle point you don't see discussed on many TV telecasts.

Yea, that's kind of what I was referring to in my post. Stuff that many of us don't realize as far as techique goes.

Agreed. I thought the UNI telecast was good yesterday. I couldn't even tell you the names of the play by play or analyst was. I don't think you would have heard those subtle points if Dickie V was announcing (does he know where Cedar Falls is?).
