Does anybody know if the Iowa band is going to Ames for the Iowa State football game this year? Based on the attached article the Iowa band skipped the game in 2021. But I guess the band did not travel to any games in 2021.

Remember in 2019, after that long 8-hour rain delay game, when the Iowa president threatened to cancel the series because the Iowa band was treated so badly by ISU fans. Or was it the Iowa band that that was acting like jerks? No it was the ISU fans who started it. Regardless it all escalated into something. Maybe next time there is a 8-hour rain delay they should just send the band home early (if they are going)

I do not remember that game. I was in Vegas and was watching the game at a bar and drank the entire rain delay. Luckily it was in the hotel I was staying at.

I live in Lincoln and the rain delay pushed our game into the middle of the Nebraska game so it got moved off onto ESPNU and a lot of people here couldn't watch until the Iowa game was over.
