About Penn State

I believe that if we keep this score within 69 points that we can hold our heads high and claim a moral victory. This is an unreal football team. They are better than us at every position with the possible exception of punter. I see 74-5. The bad mojo this forum has created with morons talking about winning the division, going to Indy, hypothetical matchups against elite SEC teams, etc. has me terrified.
This super team scored 24 pts. against an Indiana team that couldn't put their pants on right, at home. Iowa will put pressure on them offensively at some point and it's at Kinnick. I believe we keep them in the low 50's at least.

Penix is absolutely awful right now. Until they do something about him they will be bad.

Sucks but even if we have a better record I think there’s a 99% chance we still have to go through OSU. With their depth, athleticism, and experience being on that stage, I just don’t see it happening.

The last time they weren’t B1G champs CJ Beathard was our quarterback. A close loss to a really good Oregon team doesn’t put them out of the conversation in my book.

I will gladly eat crow, by the way.
This. OSU is undefeated in the B1G and their last game showed some semblance of a defense. They can outscore most of the teams on their schedule and have half the season left to work on and improve their defense. I believe they will be in the B1G Championship.

I reserve the right to amend this prediction after this weekend when they travel to Nebraska, but assuming they win that game, I think this is Michigan's year to beat what has become their big brother. OSU has looked mortal this year, especially on defense. Michigan is due a bit of Karma. And, the West is very deep and they are likely to beat up on each other. It may be that no one comes out of the West without a loss. But, if I were a betting man, I would lay some money on Michigan being in Indy (assuming I got fair odds for said bet).

Not gonna happen. Harbaugh doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to get it done.

Uhhhhhhh...wut?

NW, WI, and IL are tire fires, nE, and MN aren't much better, and Purdue has scored a grand total of 26 points in two conference games against two of the worst teams in the west. The West is 10-ply Charmin Ultra Soft.

I agree, Michigan is going to crash and burn at some point. I have zero confidence in Harbaugh being able to navigate through the East undefeated.

I'm gonna bet KC meant East otherwise his last 3 sentences are confusing.

Rewatched last year’s game and we struggled with the quarterback draw. They ran it over and over early in the game and picked up good yardage every time.

I remember that, at first I got frustrated, then realized they were not going to win with that. And in a few series Phil solved it.

I expect #5 to be finding the seam in the zone just like the MD stud did. If the LBs get deep and tip the passes good things will happen.

The East is up for OSU, PSU, Mich and MSU to grab. right now I would say PSU has the best defense and offense combination of them all so I put them in first followed closely by Mich and OSU, then MSU a little farther down at 3rd or 4th.

If OSU gets even a very good defense then they might win it. If Mich can pass the ball, and their 2 qbs looked pretty good throwing against wisky, then they have the chance to win some big games,

The East round robin will be interesting
