White brings the type of play to CHA that has been missing for way too long. Iowa fans love and recognize hustle and hard work. White does both of those things. He's going to boost attendance next year all by himself with the way he's playing.

Jake Jaacks. I liked his attitude. He got booed a lot on the road which tells me he did a good job of getting under peoples skin.

Who does White remind you of folks? Settles? and it may be too early, but maybe Street?
bowen just due to his frame but he is more skilled, although I don't necessarily see him being a grt shooter.

Lots of references that equate White with Bowen. I see a much brighter college career for White than Bowen had. Don't get me wrong, Bowen had a nice career, especially in the NBA, but seems to me White has impressed more, albeit in a short time, so far in his freshmen year compared to Bowen's freshman year. White seems much more athletic and mobile.

White's hustle is awesome to watch. He's always moving. He hates mistakes. The kid is going to be a leader on this team.

For a freshman he looks very good. A bit slow of foot, but he's smart and puts himself in positions both offensively and defensively that creates situations that benefit the team. The one thing that I particulalry like is that his teamates respect him (as a freshman) and he has become a valued member of the team. Loved Gatens feeding him the pick and roll for the flush.

when Archie first checked in in the second half, play hadn't resumed for more than a couple seconds and White was barking at him about something he was or wasn't doing. I thought it was interesting to see how much better White understood things, and he's been here for a much shorter time. Just good bball IQ I suppose.
Archie has been playing basketball for a long time in pretty good systems. If he doesn't get it by now, I think it is more than BBAll IQ.
this kid is very grounded, he is the complete gymn rat, as is Marble, White will more than likely improve from this year to next, what he need to work on is foot movement, and developing a pull up jumper, he gets that and look out;
unlike earlier in the season where he was like there wasn't a shot he didn't like, now he is more selective and more aggressive.
that one dunk where came down and gave that look to the PSU player that brought the PSU coach a T was not necessary he just need to do the slam and the just turn his back, but Fran can work on that so has not to kill the fire and desire.

I kind of thought the same thing, until they showed the replay. White got smacked in the face by the defender during the dunk. After I saw that I kind of understood why he did that.
