$5 mil a year to bonehead go for 2 early in the game!!!

This team is just a bunch of choke artists. When was the last time we won a game in this position. It’s been years. Every damn time.
 
Chasing points scored us 1 extra point this game. Good decision by Kirk to chase points. Some people play scared and take points instead of chasing them. If Kirk played like that we would have lost by 3 instead of 2.

our "vaunted" d-line all you homers have raved about was obviously a little "off" today.
with that as a know factor, the Cap HAD to play for points cause Blough is freakin' good.
i like the game management.
i can live with the game management.
i don't hang this on the Cap.
i hang this on the unrealistic expectations that most of you have on here.
i like the aggressiveness of the Cap 2.0
with that, you win some AND you lose some.

Chasing the points does not mean going for a TD or first down on 4th down, it means going for 2 pt conversion when you can kick a PAT.

Nothing wrong for going on 4th down in a high scoring game. FGs probably werent going to do it but dont effing go for 2 point when you got the TD
 
With 25 minutes to go in the game you dont need to go for 2 pt conversions.

I told everyone how this game was going to end as soon as we missed that 2pt try. It is the way off KF.

Great guy, slightly above avg game time coach who makes some terrible decisions.

Before the first missed 2 pt conversion we went for the 4th down instead of kicking a field goal. If you're saying that decision was fine but going for 2 wasn't then youre using hindsight to make decisions. Hey, at least you will never be wrong that way so maybe I'll try. Chasing points was smart on 4th down but it was stupid on the 2 pt conversion!

I dont think he owns it, he will say "well we wanted to get within 3 points " but he doesnt consider it is less than 50-50 he gets the conversion and now you set yourself to be down 12 point after another purdue TD

YOu got to think ahead and be able to count and project a possible score
