4 Iowa/Wisconsin Tickets for Sale

Not sure why so many people are upset over this. Once the season starts, you will not find a ticket for less than $100 for all of the conference games.
Especially if Iowa starts the season 3-0 or 4-0...prices are going to skyrocket.

Who cares if someone is selling the ticket for market value? He's not forcing anyone to buy it.

As a fan, take your pick. Watch a winning team on the field and pay more than face value. Or watch a losing program and pay $20 a ticket.

I'll gladly pay up if it means the Hawks are winning.

I agree. Also, the seller said he is ASKING $500 for the 4 tickets. Asking is likely not what he will take nor is it what he will get. My guess would be that he will get between $75-$100 a ticket. Probably $100 per ticket but who knows.
As a season ticket holder, selling tickets to one game is a great way to offset the cost of purchasing tickets. Some people frown upon it, some people don't. It all depends on who you are and like previous posters have said, you don't HAVE to buy the tickets at his asking price.

These tickets are not prime seats but dont forget that it takes a good donation per seat to get sideline seats up to 600 per seat between the 40's some people forget that its just not possible to say to univ i want row 40 on the 50 here is my $360 bucks.

Freaking hilarious ... that Nate Robinson Section 213 Row 9 would try to bend his fellow Hawk peers over and stick it to them for more money ... Always surprises me when people do that, especially to fellow Hawk fans ... Heck, I just want a Hawk fan in my seat! Not going to make them take a second job to be able to afford the ticket ...

After paying the "donation" for each game, this kind of price isn't unreasonable if the seats are decent. I have 4 good tix for the PSU game that I will be selling due to a wedding. I will get as much as I can.

I guarantee you will be able to find these tix for cheaper than $125 a pop.

Also, the university might not like you trying to sell these tickets for so much money Nate Robertson Section 213 Row 9.

Actually the University changed their own ticket exchange website this year to allow people to charge more than face value for the tickets. And to use the exchange you have to be an I-Club member. So, I'm pretty sure that they're okay with the scalping of tickets.

I was surprised to see the negative reaction at selling these tickets for $125 a piece. I have 5 ticket in the middle end-zone section about 15 rows up. I sold the Michigan\Iowa game last year and averaged over $225 a ticket. I used this money to take a trip with my kids to the Orange Bowl in Chili Miami this year. The price he is asking is probably less then what he could get if he waits and sells them at a later date. If both teams were to be undefeated he could get as much as $300 a ticket. I've sold a few sets of ticket in my day and if you pick the right game and situation you can make a nice profit. All this is contingent on what these two team records look like at the time you sale them of course. Say what you want but it's the free market scenario with these types of deals. Nate E-mail me and I will get you at least $175 a ticket. LOL :)

Tickets are sold. Got rid of them today. Thanks for all of the good natured ribbing, I enjoyed seeing what people had to say about the ticket sale.

I cannot wait for the season to begin. I am more pumped for this season than any other one in my lifetime.
