Well, the last 3 games have been pretty uninspiring.. And concerning. I type this with a pretty level head right now - I hope I'm wrong, but this doesn't look like the same team we saw in January. Obviously, I'm concerned about how the rest of this season is going to go.

I'm a little gun shy from so many late season collapses over the years, I guess.

This is a fair assessment.

We can all obviously see how lazy they've been playing on defense, but what I really like is how it literally takes half the shot clock to get an offensive play started. Way too much standing around on both O & D.

All you say is true, but I don't think one loss is a guarantee that we'll never win another game all year. C'mon. Everyone here LOVED PSU when the beat Indiana a couple games back. They played out their ***es tonight, had about 4 players have career games, and took us out also. Reality is two things...the team hasn't played up to what they were doing a couple weeks ago and that's a fact. The other fact is we are tied with 2 other teams for the lead in the conference. In reality one of them is a game back of us due to the fact they play each other, so as of now we're tied with either Mary or Indy. We can take care of Indy ourselves. Mary we'll need some help with.
Last, my hope is the team and coaching staff are stronger than some of the posters here tonight. If they are not, then we probably WON'T win again. I doubt the team quits. It's a shame some of the fan base seems to have quit on them.

First of all, you spelled dumber wrong. Secondly, where have you been the past few seasons? We ALWAYS choke at the end of the regular season and in the conference tournament. This team just has no heart or hustle lately. The season is over. It's not even worth watching the rest of their games since they won't win any of them. I am completely embarrassed to be an Iowa fan. This is the worst loss any ranked team has had all season. Penn State wouldn't win the ******* MEAC.

I was right here when we won our last 6 last year. It's pretty common knowledge that every one of Fran's teams at Iowa have gotten better as the year went on except 2 years ago. That won't be the case this year obviously since we played so well at the midway point that it would have been really tuff to get better.

It's crazy. The first 3 years everyone talked about how the team has gotten better as the year's gone on every year. Then the collapse happened and put an end to the trend for 1 year until they won 6 strait to end the year last year. That's 4 out of 5 years and soon to be 4 out of 6.

It was a bad loss tonight, and the team hasn't looked great for 3 games. So everything is awful. You need to completely disregard how good the year has been overall, and focus on the collapse of one year, 2 years ago.

Stupid Fran made his team fall apart again cause he doesn't know how to make teams peak at the right times like most coaches do!
