Good grief. Potentially, damn near all of them.

2025 will be the first year where the seniors can not take an extra COVID year, so you are gonna get the last Covid seniors plus the normal seniors.

I realize '25 mock drafts are even stupid to publish, but it gives an idea of where someone projects guys to get drafted. This one has Castro going 25th to the Ravens and Lachey going 30th to the 49ers.

Green Bay is a shitty little town the size of Sioux City. Yes, they draw full houses for their games, but a lot of the crowd drives in. They don't get a whole lot of visiting fans. The airport is not big and the casino is probably the best place to stay. Given the rollouts in Nashville and KC, I just don't see how the hell Green Bay is going to match that. Buffalo was a stretch, but they are at least used to major tourism with Niagara Falls. They also are 3 times the size.

Weather could also be iffy.

Two hours from Milwaukee. Door County right there. Suburbs around GB. Oshkosh, Appleton. One hour from Sheboygan and smaller communities along the lakeshore that are tourist friendly.

Now. I don’t know how many people we are talking about. I am just curious
about the logistics.

Not really buying the Sioux City/GB comparison.

People get really stuck on the size of Green Bay but it's really all of the surrounding community. Definitely not sufficient for a Super Bowl, and the draft will be a stretch, but that's part of the charm.

We would be staying with friends in Appleton if we went up. We would be bringing a group of seven or eight. With at least one mandatory stop at Jim's County Line near Rosendale.

Its not an exact comparison, but by this logic, SC is only 90 minutes away from Omaha, which is not that much smaller than Milwaukee. Its also less than an hour from Sioux Falls. I get that Green Bay has suburbs and might be a hare bigger than SC, but I don't think someone is going to want to attend the draft and stay two hours away in Milwaukee. Do they have the hotels, bars, and restaurants to handle that large of an out of town contingency?

That said, I don't think Green Bay will need the infrastructure of KC or Nashville to hold those crowds because I don't think nearly as many people want to visit a small town in North Wisconsin in April. That is why I think the decision is dumb by the NFL. But hey, the NFL prints money in its sleep, so I am sure this event will seem like a great success. They made Detroit work. But, just about any NFL city would be better than Green Bay.

Top under the radar players from ESPN:

Sebastian Castro, CB, Iowa

Yes, Iowa has another star cornerback to know for 2025: The 5-11 Castro is one of the best slot corners in the nation. He had three interceptions last season while proving he can handle quickness and power from opposing wide receivers.

"He's not Cooper [DeJean] to me, but he's a really good player overall," said an AFC scouting director who has studied the 2025 cornerback class. "He's quick, really good ability to tackle in the open field, and he's never out of position."

Castro plays in the box, in the slot and even at safety. He has excellent read-and-react skills and toughness. He broke up eight passes last season and didn't allow a touchdown reception in coverage.

Castro and Lachey will be high picks almost for certain. Graves and Black certainly have the possibility for it depending on the yrs they have. I'm not sure how high though. Craig has work to do he didn't do much last yr. Being a little under sized I'll be curious how he does this yr.

XN I could see being a 3rd rounder or better if he has a monster yr too. If that's the case he'll have a decision to make. Schulte will suprise folks. I'm not sure he'll get drafted but he'll get a shot at the NFL.

Jackson and Higgins might not have a ton of tread on the tires having long college careers like they have but they'll get NFL shots too I'm just not so sure how high they get taken.

The other lineman, Cade, and Williams I'm not so sure about honestly. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they get shots.

The five that probably have the highest ceiling potential based upon this season are McNamara, Lachey, Graves, Nwankpa and Dunker. While the others could certainly impact their draft ratings, most are guys where you basically know what you are getting.

McNamara would have to stay healthy and tear it up to get some attention. I doubt it will happen, but he could work his way into the late rounds.

Obviously, Lachey could greatly impact his projection coming off the injury.

Graves and Nwankpa underachieved last year. Both have major potential. Graves needs to really commit to S&C and play with more intensity. With Nwankpa, it's more a matter of getting a comfort level and playing without hesitation.

Dunker has all the measurables that the NFL likes but he'll be projected to move inside. He'll have to show that he has improved on technique and the nuances, but there's a lot to work with there.

Cade would really have to set the world on fire. Between his size being below avg, his arm isn't exactly as good as Elways, his injury history and not having done much of anything the last 3 yrs he'd just have to really really look good to get any consideration for getting drafted. I'll believe it when I see it.

As I said, I doubt it will happen. For him, it's really about getting a look at all. If he stays healthy and plays very well, he might garner late round or FA attention. His ceiling is probably a poor-man's Kirk Cousins.

I was surprised Castro didn't go this year, I thought he'd get drafted if he did.
