'19 In-State PG Tyreke Locure Talks Increased Iowa Interest

Woodbury needed a running head start to do it I think. When standing under the hoop I don't think he could go up with two hands off two feet and do it. He NEVER did that in a game despite a ton of chances. Cook can just turn rise and throw it down of either foot both feet and either hand.
Jordan I can't say for sure if I think he can dunk or not. I don't know if I've ever seen him try maxing out his leaping ability. One thing is for sure. If he can improve his lateral quickness and leaping ability along with strength it'll only help him at both ends of the floor.

This is also false. While Woody didn't dunk a ton and was very limited offensively, he did indeed dunk multiple times without a running start.

In games? I'd love to see the video of that cause I don't remember any. Warmups perhaps or just messing around or in Prime time league? Cause I've never seen him go up off two feet and throw it down like Cook with no head start. I'd sure like to think a guy that plays basketball at the D1 level that's 7 foot tall with long arms and large hands could do that easily but I can't remember ever seeing him do it in a game.

And for the record if I had to guess on JBo being able to dunk I don't think he can. But there's no loss of sleep over that. Keep those 3s flying

Is the question if he can dunk at all in an open gym or if he can dunk good enough to dunk in a game. He almost certainly can in an open gym. 6' guys who are athletic enough to play D1 can probably dunk at least 90% of the time.

Tyreke doesn't look very tall, but he also doesn't seem to have any trouble dunking. Looking forward to getting a look first-hand this summer in DM.

He had some dunks were Sapp or Mike G drove the lane and handed it off to him where he didn't have a running start. He didn't do it much, that I agree with but that doesn't change the fact he didn't need a running start because he was 6'11. Just like it doesn't change the fact the Jordan can dunk too even tho he doesn't do it in games, that's not really his game.

EXACTLY ... that's all I was saying, he can dunk, the situation would have to be a perfect one to do it in a game. The same with Woody not needing a running start.

It's getting deep in here.

haha, right? I get it, it's not something we're going to see out of Jordan, and I am FINE with that. I just know from being around basketball long enough and seeing enough kids his height that can dunk fairly easily. Now, take a kid who is a D1 prospect and a B1G player that's 6 foot and tell me they can't dunk.

I really doubt Jordan can dunk just because he's a D1 prospect. It really doesn't matter though because that isn't his game. His game is to shoot 3's and rack up "fake assists" ;)

I really doubt Jordan can't dunk just because he's 6 foot and white and hasn't done it in a game. But I am sure you'll tell us because you've been spot on with Jordan since day 1.

I'm sure if he can throw it down there would be video of him doing it in warm ups, open gym, PTL or many other places. He's not athletic which is why he struggles on defense so much. Again it doesn't matter if he can or can't since that's not his game but just because he's a 6 foot tall D1 athlete doesn't mean he can dunk because you said so

Your evaluation of him has him pretty much unable to run down the court without tripping over himself so I'd be inclined to say you're wrong on anything Bohannon.

Hilarious. We are arguing whether or not our point guard, who is known for shooting threes and shooting clutch shots, can dunk or not.... as if it would be of any consequence. It doesn't matter if Jordan can dunk or not. What matters is can he hit the open three. That will open up things for his teammates. If all he could do were drive and dunk, it would be to the detriment of the team - one more defensive body clogging up the driving lanes.
